On our website, desertmeadows3.com, you will find the Approved 2025 Annual Meeting Minutes and the Unapproved 2026 Board, Annual, and Organizational Meeting Minutes from last week’s meetings. The Contact list for Board members and Committee Chairs has also been updated.
Included are the 2026 dates for the upcoming Board Meetings and Socials.
We do not post our financials on the website. They were emailed to you in the eblast.
REMINDER: If you have not already mailed in your $35.00 HOA 2026 Dues please do so immediately. They were due February 2, 2026. If you didn’t receive your invoice back in January or have misplaced it and need another, please contact Debra at secretary@desertmeadows3.com or 360-601-2018.
ALERT: Within the past two weeks homes in The Links, Fairways, and on Abrego have been broken in to. Cash was stolen and homeowners incurred damage to the front doors. Deputies responded, prints were taken and an investigation is under way. PLEASE make sure that all of your doors and windows are locked and secured. Recommendations also include leaving on or adding additional lights until the perpetrator is apprehended. Do not become complacent-take proper precautions.

Hello Fellow DM3 Homeowners!

For your reading enjoyment, you will find the Unapproved Minutes of our August 13, 2025 HOA Board Meeting posted to our website desertmeadows3.com.
Since it is a public site, we do not post the Financial report to the website. You may always request a hard copy or private email copy of the Minutes or Financial report at secretary@desertmeadows3.com or by calling or texting Debra at 360-601-2018.

Things to be aware of:
Abrego South is temporarily closed with no word, as yet, when it may reopen which is why the meeting was moved to Las Campanas.

Bees are active and may be aggressive. Please be vigilant when out walking. If you see hive activity, the pest control company you use can remove and relocate the hive.

The Grounds and Weeds Committee will begin inspections again in September after the Monsoon rains.

The Community Yard/Craft Sale will be scheduled for the first part of November. More information on that will be coming out soon.

Monsoon rains have not been as active this year so brush is pretty dry and the area between the back of San Vincent and the Frontage road, which is ADOT property, is overgrown. We will be contacting FireWise to evaluate our neighborhood and advise us on ways to mitigate fire danger. More information will be coming out soon.

There will be one opening on the Board for the February election. The Nominations Committee will be sending out information in October.

The next HOA Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 3:00pm. It will be held at Abrego South unless they are not open by then in which case you will be notified of location.

Attention Desert Meadows III Homeowners,
American Family, our current insurer, will no longer be writing “Directors and Officers Liability” policies in the state of Arizona so they will not be renewing our policy when it expires on July 25, 2025.
We have been shopping around for other insurance and have three to compare and vote on which is the reason for the announcement below.

Highlights of Meeting:
Unwelcome solicitors are visiting our neighborhood trying to sell services to wash windows, replace windows, pest control, and TEP solar panels. Legitimate business will not solicit door-to-door.
Leaving a radio or television on if you are going out for the evening might be a good deterrent for anyone canvassing the neighborhood for empty houses to burglarize.
It is hot, dry, and windy. Dried and dead trees, brush, weeds, and wood piles are fuel for a fire and should be removed to prevent the spread of a potential fire.
We are on a waiting list with Green Valley Council for a Speed Detection Sign that they lend to HOAs to help deter speeding in the neighborhood which wouldn’t be necessary if everyone would obey the 25mph speed limit once they turn off of Abrego.
Once again, cars cruising the alleyway behind San Ray have been noticed in the middle of the night. This was an issue in the past when illegal drug activity was going on in one of the homes on San Ray. Seems like it has started up again. As always, if you see or hear anything suspicious, call 911.

Hello Fellow DM3 Homeowners!

The Unapproved Minutes of the November 13th Board meeting are now posted on our website, desertmeadows3.com.

A few dates to remember:

Dec 10 is the deadline to turn in a short Biography if you intend to run for the Board. There are five (5) openings for the next 3-year term.

Ballots will be mailed out Dec 30th, along with the 2025 Dues Invoice of $35.00, and the dates for the 2025 meetings and socials.

Your return ballot must be postmarked by Feb 1, 2025 to be counted.

Election results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on Feb 12, 2025.

The daytime temps are cooler now so please stay on top of your weeding and trimming.

Are you ready for the most requested DMIII social activity of the year? Join us for the Wine & Cheese social! Meet your neighbors, socialize, enjoy a nice glass of wine or sample a variety of wines.

Saturday 9/21 at 5-7pm at Abrego South

Bring a bottle of wine to share, or a beverage for yourself if you are not partaking in the wine. The HOA will be providing cheese, crackers & coffee.

Greetings Fellow DM3 Homeowners,

You’ll find the Unapproved Minutes of the recent August 14, 2024 Board meeting posted on our website, www.desertmeadows3.com.

The Grounds and Weeds Committee asks that you stay vigilant with weeding and trimming. The Monsoon rains bring overgrowth.

Mark your calendars: The next Wine and Cheese Social is planned for Saturday, September 21st from 5-7pm at Abrego South. More information on that will be forthcoming.

Please be thinking about running for a Board position for next year. There will be openings. They are three-year terms. Without a working Board, the business of the HOA cannot be carried out. Without an HOA, we lose our 55+ status with the State. If interested in finding out more information, please contact nominations@desertmeadows3.com.

Please remember that the Board and the Committee members are all volunteers. They devote their time and effort into trying to maintain this HOA to the best of their ability. Most of our members pay their annual dues and adhere to the CC&Rs realizing it is the best way to protect their property values. A few members, however, don’t seem to care which presents a real challenge. The Board will be developing and publishing policies to address these issues of non-compliance.

Greetings to our Fellow DM3 Homeowners!

The Unapproved Minutes of the May 15, 2024 Board Meeting are now posted on the website, desertmeadows3.com. Please go to the website and read the Minutes if you want to stay up to date on the happenings taking place in our community. It’s a long one, there was much to discuss.

A few of the Highlights are:

The Treasurer will be moving some funds from Checking and Savings to purchase three (3) more $5,000 CDs so we can benefit from the interest.

The Grounds & Weeds Committee will begin their inspections in the next few days. Please get your weeds and tree and shrub trimming under control to avoid a G & W Notice. We would all like to take pride in the wonderful community we have here.

The Social Committee will be sending out a reminder Eblast this weekend about the upcoming Carport Coffee Social which will be on May 23rd.

The overgrowth along the Freeway behind S. San Vincent continues to encroach creating a potential fire hazard. Since that area is really ADOTs responsibility but they do not want to maintain it, options will be discussed with GV Council about the best solution. We have TV Investigative News and GV Newspaper contact information to distribute via a future Eblast in the hope that, with enough exposure, ADOT can be held accountable. Watch for more information on that.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Mike Norman, a past Board and Nominations Committee member. Rest in Peace Mike.
