Residents of Green Valley are fortunate enough to have many different agencies working together to provide support and aid in times of emergency. They ask that you not be afraid to use them. Helping you is their purpose.
You are the eyes and ears of your neighborhood and you know what is normal. If you are in distress, feel threatened or see or hear something that just isn’t right, call 911 immediately.
Unsure whether your concern is actually an emergency? Call 911. They will decide if your situation is an emergency and they will send help. If not a true emergency, they will route your call to the proper agency.

Pima County currently employs four hundred and fifty (450) sworn deputies plus civilians. Twenty-six (26) deputies and 1 Detective are assigned to our Green Valley District.

Providing TeleCare Welfare phone calls, Home Security checks, Fingerprinting, Patrolling, Emergency Response, Park Patrol, Vehicle Etching, Scam Squad to name a few.
Green Valley Fire District www.gvfire.org
There are four (4) fire stations in Green Valley with ninety (90) paid employees and sixty-two (62) Fire Corp Volunteers. They answer 1200-1300 calls per month. Everything from snake removal, pests, and smoke alarms needing battery changes to medical assistance and fires. They offer a lockbox program so they don’t have to break down your door in an emergency situation if you are non-responsive and an Envelope of Life program that hangs on your refrigerator containing your medical and contact information if you are non-responsive.
Pima County Emergency Alerts
During an emergency, urgent messaging is effective only if it reaches you quickly. Go to My Alerts to create a profile (your information is confidential and will not be shared) and start receiving notifications. Messages could warn of potential safety hazards, law enforcement situations, or any number of emergency situations. *Signing up is free but text messaging fees from your cell carrier may apply.
